Provisional feedback

JULY 2024

As part of our efforts to continuously improve your exam experience and align with common testing practices, CLARB will begin offering provisional feedback for the L.A.R.E.

In partnership with our test development and test delivery team, we have started a multi-phase project to release provisional feedback, beginning with the Inventory, Analysis and Project Management section only during the August 2024 exam administration period.

Provisional feedback will be launched one section at a time, following this schedule:

August 2025		Grading, Drainage and Stormwater Management

Provisional feedback

Provisional feedback is an accurate predictor of whether or not you passed or failed the exam section, but it is NOT an official score and is based on unvalidated exam results. Your exam results must still be analyzed by CLARB using data forensics before your score report can be released. Official scores will be available at my.clarb.org approximately 4-6 weeks following the last day of the administration period.

At the end of your examination, you will be able to view your provisional feedback on the screen, and you will also receive an email that includes your provisional feedback.

When will I receive my final scores?

Official scores will be available at my.clarb.org approximately 4-6 weeks following the last day of the administration period.

Can I print my provisional feedback?

The provisional feedback screen cannot be printed at the test center or via online proctoring, however, immediately following the completion of your examination, you will receive an email that includes your provisional feedback.

Can you send me an email with my provisional feedback?

Immediately following your examination, you will receive an email with your provisional feedback. Be sure to set the following email addresses as safe senders in your email account:

Will my provisional feedback be viewable as part of my Council Record or My Exam Results on the CLARB website?

Provisional feedback is not part of your CLARB account. Only official scores are added to your Council Record and your exam history. Official scores will be available at my.clarb.org approximately 4-6 weeks following the last day of the administration period.
